Welcome to Ohio4Equality!

Thank you for visiting Ohio4Equality. The purpose for this website is to raise awareness of the current laws in Ohio which discrimate against LGBT citizens, and what we can do to change this.  I have created a petition to start a grassroots movement to repeal the law in Ohio known as Issue 1 which was passed by voters in 2004.  Issue 1 is a descriminatory piece of legislation that bans same-sex couples from the right to marry.  It is my hope that we can gather enough signatures to present this petition to the Ohio congress to get this consitutional amendment repealed and bring equality to the state of Ohio.
