About Us

Ohio4Equality was started as a grassroots movment to repeal discrimatory laws in Ohio against LGBT citizens, to fight to repeal Ohio Issue 1, the consitutional amendment which bans same-sex couples the right to marry in Ohio, and inform citizens about these laws, and what they can do to help.

Our users

Anyone who believes in equality for all American citizens regardless of race, creed, religion, national origin, or sexual orientation, and wants to work to advance to remove discrimatory laws in Ohio.

History of project

A petition was started on 5/4/2013 asking the Ohio congress to repeal the amendment to the Ohio consitution known as Ohio Issue 1.
